Mafia 7: Sign Up Thread
Loki:
Nope. Black Sword was the game leader in Mafia 3. He sent out PMs to the people who got special abilities (like protecting others, being the leader of a faction etc). His descriptions frequently included the words "It is inevitable that you shall be targeted for death.", then usually describing what would happen if the recipient of the PM would get attacked. Since you asked to be not killed, I thought it was fitting to quote the sentiment that being killed in such a game is almost inevitable, especially if you have a special role.
But now that you mention it, you might indeed want to go ahead and read any other Mafia thread (I would in fact recommend Mafia 3.) You can ignore most of the posts except those of the game leader (Black Sword in that case), since they only include occasional paranoia, discussions whom to lynch, roleplaying, and in Gareth' case, defiling of corpses.

I was about to correct you but I realised that the bear probably counts.
Method of Madness:
I don't know, man, reading a game I wasn't a part of seems...wrong.
TheEvilDog:
Think of it more like you're studying tactics on how to survive this game.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Basically if some favorite fairy tale characters were put together in a party, what would they do.

No, but it wouldn't hurt to look at some of the earlier games to get an idea of how certain roles work. I'll be posting basic rules at the beginning, but I'm not going to list every individual role because I want there to be some kind of surprise when roles are revealed.
Also, suggestion, don't not do anything. Being too quiet tends to get people killed.
There's a few slots left for anyone else who is interested!
