Excuse my shitty indie cred, but something about the feel of 'Nightswimming' by REM gets me every time.
It probably has more to do with what I was dealing with when I first heard that song than the music itself. I think a lot of the emotion we tie to music comes from what it reminds us of, rather than the actual song. Kind of like how certain smells trigger memories, and it's different for each person.
