I'm fine with the bayonet and kris (sword, not dagger) in my garage, though both need repairs- the bayonet especially, since my10 year old reaction at finding a short sword was to use it for yard pruning, so now it has a couple notches. I didn't find the kris until I was more mature, and the hilt is loose anyway. I've practiced with the bayonet a bit, and think I prefer short sword handling to the more iconic swords, simply because it doesn't feel so heavy it's hammertime.

I think the volume was mostly surprise… it's not like she continued to rant ad nauseam or anything.
Besides I thought she only approved of good guitar purchases?

Marten certainly came out of left field with the guitar purchase. He may yet start getting serious and reform the band (YAY for character development!).
Besides, it's entirely possible that Jeph is still trolling us.
