So when did "bro" become a pejorative? I know it was a while ago, but it seemed like it happened all of a sudden.

Goddammit Clinton. I have been known to be tactless at times, but this...

I really find that one sentence by Clinton semantically interesting. It carries four pieces of information to Marten at least.

a) Claire remembers the snuggles
b) She told Clinton
c) Clinton knows that Marten remembers them
d) Clinton thought Marten is okay.
e) Clinton is either Chaotic Good or True Stupid.

Method of Madness:
e) Almost certainly the former.

Should Clinton have said that? Probably not, but Claire and Marten wouldn't have so he kind of had to, at least from a story perspective.
