Yes, exactly.
Is it cold in here?:
Welcome, toffee-skye!
I nominate The Pugnacious Peach for hugging duty, given the sedating effect of Faye hugs.
ZoeB:
--- Quote from: Tova on 24 Apr 2013, 01:27 ---I'm concerned for Clinton's wellbeing.
--- End quote ---
Right now... I'm not. Not one little bit. Later on my mind might start turning towards boiling oil and molten lead, but right now there are more important issues to consider.
toffee-skye:
i petition for Marten to at least pat her on the shoulder. if not fully hug her. :c
and i would add to the "where's Clinton" conversation, but like ZoeB, i don't really care.
(p.s. thank you for the welcomes, guys :D)

--- End quote ---
More of a case that it's a nerve-wracking experience. Mental problems are something best dealt with beforehand.
Though the hormonally-induced mood-swings do take some getting used to for the gals, while the guys suddenly get introduced to Mr Supercharged Male Libido. Basically, nothing everyone else doesn't go through during puberty, just sped up a bit. OK, a lot. And intensified. On the other hand, they're older, more mature, so can probably cope better than 12-15 yr olds.
I've never taken an anti-anxiety drug. There were times during my transition where I could have used them, but as my metabolism was so screwed up, the very time I needed them most was the time it was most risky medically to take any. When it was safe, I didn't need them.
