I don't think that people hate cleverly constructed puns. In moderation, you know, as a part of a sensible diet.
I can understand why overlaboured and done-to-death pun threads can grate with some, though.  :angel:

Those who are propun minded enjoy the lengths to which they can take the word play. Those who are ant i simply see it as pun ishment.
