Come hang out with me, I'm not far from SF. P.S. Los Angeles is a sprawling, polluted mess. Much as I'd love to explore more, I'm never going to until they solve the pollution problems. I spent one weekend there last month and had to have an emergency breathing treatment done. I hadn't had an asthma attack in 15 years.
Patrick:
oh yeah, the point of the thread. right. let's see...
1. go on tour
2. make more Troubador records
3. actually write a few songs of my own that are worth putting on said records
4. learn more instruments
5. get famous
6. travel everywhere ever

The goal is to drive from the furthest point west to the furthest point east. I don't want to visit specific places, I don't want to plan out my trip. I want the road to be my destination, lead it to where it wants to lead me. I want to make THE road trip.
Patrick:
yes well when you eventually get tired of being stuck in L.A. traffic give me a call and I'll start you off with a buncha options.

I'm very close to being an editor - I work in the Production department of an academic publishing house - but need to make a career change IN 2013 at some point, probably.
What art-lover doesn't want to write a novel? :-)

I officially declare us BFFs!
Also even though I have dual citizenship, I have an Irish passport. I'd need to get a British passport to have the easy way in to NZ. I should get a British one just to have one really.
