I was trying for a name that could have been turned into Masterpiece.
Mars Terrence Pistorious = Masterpiece. I was going to go with Pisces as surname, but that sounded too plain.

Of course, it's much easier to turn Mars Terrence Pistorious into Masterpiss, but eh.

The spectrometer blows up. The test involves taking a sample of blood and exposing the sample to a source of heat. Every Thing is connected and so hurting the blood hurts the Thing and it reacts.

So, since blowing up would definitely expose the sample to heat the Thing should react, right?
