With an exasperated sigh, the machine operator held her hand out to the others, waiting to be test.
The now daily ritual of cutting a hand and letting the blood drip into a petri dish felt no more troubling than brushing one's teeth....if a little more difficult due to the number of bandaged hands...but that's beside the point...but I bet that really hurts. I mean, how do you guys take care of things with all your hands bandaged up from all the testing--I'm sorry, where was I? Oh yeah...
De_la_Nae simply watched with a blank stare as the heated nail popped and fizzled as it was dipped into her blood.
Another test done and another day over in the nightmare.
