GarandMarine:
I get the cuff to end my calf piece

"O Freyja, Goddess of Love and Wars, preserve my heart's flame. May my deeds earn me a place in your hall when the valkyrie escort me to my fallen brothers and ancestors."

nekowafer:
Fancy!

My tattoo is finally almost healed (it had a spot that scabbed over and got nasty) so I'm thinking about my next one. I don't know what I want next!

BeoPuppy:
Is that how it works? 'First one healed ... on to the next'? Aren't you going to run out of real estate quickly, then?

nekowafer:
It can go as fast or as slow as you'd like. I do prefer to wait until one is healed before getting another, though. And yes, I'd run out of skin very quickly that way. But I know I'll run out of ideas long before I run out of skin.

Jimmy the Squid:
Yeah, it largely depends on how quickly you want to get things done, the resources you need to do it (time, money etc...) and the ideas you have.

I've been planning my tree for about a year but it's only been in the last few months (since I finished my sleeves) that it became a real option. I don't like having multiple unfinished projects and also I've been saving for it. I also find it's best to wait for one thing to heal before starting something else because I think the body is able to heal everything more efficiently one piece at a time.
