It being Halloween, I'm rewatching Repo and The Devil's Carnival and wondering why I don't see more buzz about the next DC film, featuring (as well as old favorites like Emilie Autumn, Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley, Ogre, and Paul Sorvino) the Hoff, Barry Bostwick (Asshole!), and original Jesus Christ Superstar Ted Neeley. It makes me wonder if Zdunich fucked up in some way, and I wonder whether it might be the Tamara subplot, which could be read as victim-blaming but for the hyper-Calvinism of the film's theology: God (the villain) is the ultimate victim-blamer. Is Zdunich damned?
