Drunk thread - now with added hangovers!

I was once at a gay bar, with the intention of having a one night stand with a dude, and a straight girl started hanging out with me and then got all upset that I wasn't interested.
Now, in fairness I'm pansexual so it's not completely unreasonable but at the same time WOMAN YOU'RE AT A GAY BAR GETTING ANNOYED AT THERE BEING GAY MEN

I never understood that. I made a habit of going to gay bars when I lived in the city because A) I went to FIT. It was our scene. and B) The gay bars were always the best bars. My favorite was one where you check your pants at the door and get two-for-one drinks all night.
The other camp I've witnessed is the "Let's go to gay bars so we can dance and boys won't bother us!". I mistakenly went out with friends once that subscribed to that train of thought. I understand their thought process but it was just so damn obnoxious. Like they were high on the fact that OMG THIS IS TABOO BECAUSE WE'RE STRAIGHT OMG. :roll:
My philosophy has always been to party where the party is and don't be a douchebag about it. Plain and simple.

This town has *one* dedicated gay bar, and two places that host a "pride night." The pride nights are both at big places with dance floors and DJs, and they attract a mix of people, and I think that's totally fine. The gay bar is small, and like most gay bars is mostly men. Last nihgt, once the trivia ended at 9 there were about 16 people in the bar. 6 of them were I. the party I was complaining about. The 3 women in their party were the only women in the bar other than my friend and me.
I mean, I don't t know for sure that they were all straight but the only same sex flirting that was happening was those two girls who were performing the "girls with girls for the enjoyment of dudes" script perfectly.

I've only been to a gay bar once because all my friends were going and we were in London on a trip together, but I felt really uncomfortable since we were all straight. We have so many bars we can go to, literally every bar besides gay bars are dominated by straight people! Let's not take over the one place gay people have to themselves where they can be left in peace from us straight folks, please.

The place I went tonight got broken up by the police. First time I've ever been to a bar that that happened.
Edit _ I still got 6 whiskey sours in though, so that's fun.
