Drunk thread - now with added hangovers!

I expect I should check in at this point. I've been punning and remembering shitty driving experiences for much of the night on the forums, it seems like I should admit I'm a bit beyond a teeny bit tipsy. Meaming I'm a little bit drunk, and the night is just starting, I have a ping and a half left to go

I don't start work for another 2 1/2 weeks, so I've just been playing videogames and getting hammered. I have nothing to do, maybe I should try to find some volunteer place for a few days. Not really for them at this point, but just so I don't get too drunk anymore. Explicit says after 7 beers with about that many left to go.

I question both the size and strength of Explicit's beers. I personally prefer greater than 6-7%, and in quantities greater than a pint at a time, a few times per week. Then again, alcoholism runs in my family and I should probably cut
back, bur hey, happy fun time, right?

These are only about 5%ers. A lot for me on these is 20, which I prefer not doing on a wednesday.
As a rule of thumb I have to stay away from stronger beers because I don't stop drinking (a lot of that has to with my bedtime schedule actually). I find my "right before blackout" limit to be about a 750 of 80 proof liquor. My family also drinks a lot. Don't want to play into stereotypes that much, but we're all at least half Irish :-D

Yesterday I had to fumigate my apartment (BECAUSE ONE OF MY ROOMMATES IS A GROSS ASSHOLE WHO NEVER TAKES OUT TRASH OR DOES DISHES) and therefore couldn't be in it, so I was even more bored than usual. Taking pity on me, a friend invited me to hang out with him and his friends, and offered a bottle of honey bourbon because he didn't like it. Several hours, some scotch that this guy had at his apartment, and many rounds of Heads Up later, I have half a bottle of honey bourbon left and I'm day drinking what's left of it because I'll be busy these next two days and then on my way to a conference for a week, so I'll have no other time in the foreseeable future to enjoy it.
