welcome back greenMonkey. nice G&L! every time I re-compile my list of "guitars I must own" I always forget about them, and that is a sin. thanks for reminding me i r dum.

My son-in-law has acquired on of these.  It looks like it is pretty cool, but I don't really know Washburns.

Detachable Felix:
All I know about Washburns is that they're so goddamn pretty. Never had a chance to play one, though.

I only know early to mid eighties washburn basses, but those were built solid as a rock.

Patrick:
I've recently played one of their newer acoustics, with the beveled arm contour on the upper body. That contour took some getting used to. Aside from that, it was a beautiful instrument, tonally and aesthetically, and it played buttery smooth. And it wasn't just one, it was every one in the store I tried. I've got nothing but nice things to say about the way they do things.
