Very nice! We went to a wedding this weekend, and when Robert looked up how to tie a tie, he found some site where the directions were "start out like a bow tie, then finish like a regular tie" and there was much bellowing before he moved on to the next result.

I got these pants and I adore them, but I have no idea what color top to wear with them. A light purple one seems like far too much purple.

No such thing as too much purple.

I think I'd just wear them with a solid white/grey/black top but almost everything I own is solid grey or black. Not a fan of most patterns on me so can't give much advice.
