Steam-based Multiplayer?

I think I'll get used to civ 5 before I start a game with anyone, since I haven't played much, but after that heck yeah. argh, I have to install it (along with the other bazillion games we've bought but I haven't bothered to install)

I think the only thing I have that's MP is FPS games.. Serious Sam games, Unreal Tournament games and the like.
