Well Momo clearly knows of her. Which is unsurprising as if criminal AIs are uncommon, then May may be recognizable and notorious amongst AIs, even if she's comparatively unknown to humans.
Though I can imagine when an AI meets a stranger, it's possible (perhaps even routine) for them to instantly trawl for public information on the other individual.
