Is he a redditor? Is the term more popular than I thought?
It's rather satisfying that a famous* person and I could have seen, submitted, or just replied to the same thread, and not known.

Based on the results of a Google search I just ran, I don't think anyone should be too strenuously laying claim to being the term's unique originator.

What DSL said, it's a simple portmanteau that's probably used all the time. As for the comic itself, what would the promotion be? Manager? Does that mean that Dora's thinking about taking a less active role in the shop or maybe is thinking of opening a second one? LET THE SPECULATION COMMENCE! (who am I kidding it never stops)
