I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, but now I'm imagining an evil Thing with like a stone goatee or something; maybe colored purple.

As far as why 30 Grimms would be a Bad Thing, imagine being Thing #30. You'd feel a little redundant. As Penny Arcade put it, you're no longer THE Thing, you're just A Thing.

As someone who's been involved and had friends involved with Non-Disclosure Agreements and other such policies, it might be more wise to edit out that name, Jace. Some companies I've worked with *have* been paranoid enough to check logs and do web-searches.
