There's been nothing to indicate that she might be attracted to women. Considering how open and candid the other characters are about their sexuality, I'd have expected Claire to have mentioned it if she were bi by now. While I think it's good not to make assumptions, I hope people aren't assuming that Claire must be attracted to women as well because she's trans. I've never seen any speculation about Dale maybe being bi, for example, or Raven.

I have quit a job like Dale did. Interestingly the only job I wanted to quit like that after the job that shall not be named was working as a barista. The coworkers were fine, the coffee drinks fun to make, but the public at large were apparently part of an attempt to turn me into a serial killer. Dale's gonna need to learn sass, sarcasm and loathing for all human life fast, the public can smell weakness on a barista without these traits.

@Barmy - I really hope you don't think that's what I was assuming. I wasn't assuming anything about Claire's sexuality, I was only responding to a post that seemed to claim with certainty that she wasn't bi by pointing out that we don't know that for sure. As for Raven, I didn't realize people thought she wasn't. Also, didn't Claire say that Marten was lucky for dating Dora? (Or maybe it was the other way around, who knows?)

That was a very neutral comment. When asked if Marten and Dora dated, Claire responded with a simply 'Lucky.....'. And she has commented that Marten has a lot of really attractive friends. Most of Marten's friends are girls. Really I think Steve and Pintsize are his only male friends. Sven is more like, brother of his ex, he's never hung out that much with Dale or Clinton.  So there is that. Not really an indication that Claire is into girls though. You can appreciate beauty without being sexually attracted to someone. She's definitely into the dudes though, from her reaction in so many strips.

Since I know you well enough to know that you wouldn't make an assumption like "trans women must be attracted to women as well", I didn't think that - but I wanted to make the point in general because I think some people do get very muddled about the relationship between gender and sexuality. It's actually quite nice that people are talking about bisexuality as a thing that really exists, since most of the general media present it as binary: attracted to men, or attracted to women.
