That's not at all what I was saying though. I just found it a humorous expression of a common question amongst people who play video games, while noting the artist, writer and joint owners of said media group are complete ass wholes.

Greetings, Aperture employees, Cave Johnson here with some good news, and some bad news. Good news is, our experiments with portaling a werewolf onto the lunar surface produced very clear, and very immediate results! Go team!

Kind of, but not quite. The wights are the asoiaf zombies, while the Others or White Walkers are... something more.

The distinction is less clear in the series, but I'm pretty sure they've kept it around. They ditched the "Others" name because it's hard to distinguish between "the Others" and just "others" when you don't have capitalization.

I actually envisioned white walkers resembling Warcraft liches in appearance, minus the robes and dressed in what they died in, of course. Was kind of disappointed with GoT's depiction.
