All I know is what they told us in training. Which is they're dangerous and we're to terminate them with extreme prejudice. Information covered included that they do not have venom, but instead apparently carry a natural pain killer (the types found in Iraq and Afghanistan any way). I can also confirm with various Marines and soldiers that orders were issued under the ROE that those armed with a sidearm could use it to engage a camel spider, and were encouraged to do so.
They also get bigger then that wiki article would have you believe.
