That young lady is very talented indeed! I have always enjoyed the Ehru, especially it's more "somber" pieces. I have never in fact heard a fast piece for it before. Very impressive.

I would challenge your statement that no inturment can weep like the ehru can, the violin cries with a lot of emotion.

The piano too can have a powerful voice.

I actually really enjoy instruments that people don't expect being sad's mourning cries.

I was looking for sad pipe music and got lost. I found this cross over set featuring traditional Chinese instruments and the pipes of all things.

Good stuff that is.

Now some pipes.

And to bring you all down from what some of you heathens likely think of as torture of a cat, here's my favorite relaxation instrument. The Shakuhachi is a flute of Japanese origin.

be fair warned: The following link has some religious texts/laws being crudely acted out by LEGO people.
Laws from Leviticus, delivered through 'artfully' posed Legos.

Method of Madness:
Wait, why just link to one part? Why not just link to the whole thing?

(I read a bunch of it years ago, I should probably reread it someday and finish it if I can eventually.)

LeeC:
wow thanks MM!

Method of Madness:
It's what I'm here for :parrot:
