Method of Madness:

--- Quote from: Alt text ---Abel and Steve would've been fine! I like Steve!
--- End quote ---

kyomi:
Haha.. I like that :)

I wonder if you could use alt text on images here.. something like <img=something alt=something else> ?

LTK:
I only have a vague recollection of that comic, and I have no idea if I 'got it' the first time or not. Too many xkcd comics.

pwhodges:
This has alt text, which is supposed to be an alternative for the use of the visually impaired, describing the image instead of displaying it:

--- Quote from: Method of Madness on 15 Oct 2013, 12:42 ---
--- End quote ---

However, what you are looking for is an image title attribute.  SMF doesn't support this; but some browsers may display the alt attribute on a hover if no title is present (my Opera does not).

This is how it looks in html (you can't do this - sorry actually, you can):
<img src="http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/adam_and_eve.png" title="Abel and Steve would've been fine! I like Steve!">
