Also I'm a bit left at a blank as to what the haptic feedback will be. Is it feedback on how much you're pressing the circle pads? Or in which direction?

ankhtahr:
Actually I don't really care about the controller, or playing games on a television anyway, but the concept of SteamOS is intriguing to me. I don't see any reason for me to use it, but a real Linux distribution, marketed towards the general crowd is very interesting. Having such a big platform as Steam is move over to Linux should really make developers aware of it. Getting a greater software/games collection for Linux might eradicate the need of Windows on PCs altogether.

Implying that developers aren't aware of Linux. I've honestly never met a developer who didn't know about Linux.

ankhtahr:
Most game developers think of Linux as a tiny group of users for whom it isn't worth developing games. This has become a lot better in the last two years, with the Humble Bundles and Steam for Linux, but the big Devs still pretty much ignore it.

Is what I wanted to say by this.

de_la_Nae:
Personally I'd think that it might be more apt to say that the people who *pay* the developers tend towards that mindset a little more.

Though you may be right. I'm not a developer.
