a thing that i love is cover versions of songs, performed in widely different styles and genres from the original. bonus points for terrible modern pop songs bring translated to older, better genres.

Omg. The Nickelback one is All of them are delightful!

I always really liked this ska cover of Radiohead's "Let Down."  The sentiment fits with a lot of the politics of the reggae/rocksteady movement, and there's something haunting about the horn parts and choruses.
