I assumed he was referring to one of the systems for classifying rock-climbs. Curiously a "dale" is a valley, an area of relatively low ground.

Th-that's possible too. I've never rock climbed seriously enough to look at any of the scales for scaling.
You know, I hope Dale washes his hands after this.
