Going back to what was being talked about earlier, I turn my Computer off every night or, as the case may be, for any extended period I have to leave the house for any reason (and by that, I mean more than the 10-20 minutes it may take me to go to the shop/local Supermarket/takeaway for anything I might need). Otherwise, I leave it running when I turn it on. I've also got it set to go to Standby Mode after that period of time anyway.

I tend to leave my computer on all the time. It goes to "standby mode" after about ten minutes.

My downloading/internet/tv computer has the monitor turn off after 15 minutes, but it itself never does. While the gaming/music computer gets turned off when it's not being used.

I turn off my pc at night because apparently it's impossible to make a computer that doesn't light up like a christmas tree and I want to sleep.
