... of course, in Funky it's not about equilibrium. I think the artist genuinely hates his characters. And maybe his readers.

Well, the entire QC world could be nearly destroyed tomorrow and turned into a post apocalyptic wasteland where Marten becomes the leader of a band of people consisting of the major characters. Faye wearing a bandolier and holding a machine gun with a machete strapped to her waist comes to mind. Minor characters turned into mindless mutants that have to be fought off. They struggle with having to kill old friends. 100 page arc that ends in it being steve's dream. Then he wakes up and eats cereal.
...I want to see this happen now.

No you don't. Although I wouldn't mind if he did that as an extra thank you to people who donated to his kickstarter.
