Let's talk about Christmas, Thanksgiving be damned

Work had Christmas dinner in the canteen today. It was pretty great, and was like a nice little appetiser for my actual Christmas dinner.

Handed in my Secret Santa present for work. We do it a strange way where we're not assigned a person, we just bring a gift and then people who brought gifts are given one back randomly. We open them just after the staff do meal.
It is strange but I think it takes a lot of pressure off of us because since people get steady rota shifts, you might get someone you have barely worked with and know nothing about them. Since it's just random, people bring in silly things, mostly alcohol based, like shot belts or dirty Christmas gimmick stuff like penis ornaments.

One of my husband's friends said he wanted to see him in a Christmas sweater on our Christmas card, which is never ever ever going to happen, but I ended up making a little drawing on his card which turned out kind of cute. Now I kind of want to use it for next year's cards or something.
