Fun Stuff > CHATTER
Let's talk about Christmas, Thanksgiving be damned
Skewbrow:
That was a bit of a coincidence, Paul. Not too much of one in the sense that if your friend was to marry a woman from these parts, then it is relatively likely that they would pick the cathedral for their wedding.
Anyway, I didn't think that wet cobblestone could be mistaken for the surface of the river, but yeah, I can now see the possibility (the river was 150 ft or thereabouts behind my back when I took the photo). The city is built to an uncomfortable degree on clay, so if the cathedral were that close to the river, it would have come stumbling down ages ago.
Lines:
Merry Christmas everyone!

GarandMarine got me a gift! Europa Universalis IV on Steam (more convenient than dealing with meatspace hassles). It's been on my wishlist, as I was way too poor to spend money on it when new, and I'm a big ol' dork for Paradoxian-type Grand Strategy stuff, so yay! :-D

Thank you, handsome! <3
LeeC:
huh, Ive heard of that game but I've never played it. I generally like paradox games. Is this the one where you kind of make your own civ and they randomly put you anywhere on the map?
