I might be that person that names my company/games inappropriate things and giggles over it... Nobody seems to mind for some reason. Heck, Pole Dancing Hero XXX Ultra was a hit....

Also when the hell did 1024x768 become the bastard child of screen resolutions? I'm running into more and more *indie* titles that aren't really coding for it, or using it as a 'low-end' half-supported resolution.

Seriously, the ass-old monitors we have on campus does 1650x1080. I think Baldurs Gate 2 came with native support for 1024x768. So the answer to your question is: they're coding for reasonably recent computers.

The annoying part is when games assume you've got a screen resolution taller than 768. My laptop's monitor is 13something x 768, and games don't like that much.
