My school district was talking about giving every 6th grader a laptop. Now they can barely put roofs above their heads.

my roommate's high school bought a ton of macbook pros for their school laptop carts and bose speakers for every room when they needed to use up their budget at the end of the year in order to get more money the next year. :x
Also, my college got rid of a ton of perfectly fine iMac's (2007 or so, i think) and bought tons of macbook pros to replace them in the computer labs. (laptops at desks in a comp lab are so annoying b/c we can't move the keyboard closer to the edge of the desk while keeping the monitor where it is, and don't have mice) :x
