Alright Buttfranklin, now we have to know what kind of surgery that is. My girlfriend says it's surgery of some sort, probably on the head. I say it's totally dentistry, possibly a wisdom tooth extraction. This is deadly serious.

Eye muscle surgery to correct an eyeball that isn't pointing straight ahead when the person wants to look straight ahead. Like, one eyeball is forward and the other is going >. So in a smiley face it would be (<_0) or (^_0), etc. The surgery is done by shortening one of the muscles on the eyeball that moves the eyeball and suturing it back. The shortening of the muscle centers the eyeball back. It's a very precise surgery when it comes to the cutting and suturing of the muscle. However, cutting through the eyeball to get to the muscle is not nearly as delicate as you would think.

I can post some close-up pictures if you want, but I would have to post a link or PM it because I think many of you wouldn't want to see what it looks like to have a hook through a kid's eyeball.

It's insanely gross looking, but the very next day we saw the follow up and the only pain the kids had was heavy scratchiness on their eyes. Thing about eyeball pain receptors is that they detect pain but it's not as specific as other parts of the body, so despite muscles having been severed and sutured and the white of the eyeball severed and sutured, it was just general scratchiness.

I love Uni campus in the sun. I'll have to take my camera up to campus next time we have temperatures above 15 because it was pretty special. Everyone gets in shorts and we're like hell yeahhhh summer's early. Canterbury is lovely.
