We cleaned out my basement and I found some old photos of my parents! My dad and my stepdad used to be best friends! It is kind of weird to see them in photos together.

Also dang I had a lot of hair when I was a kid.

no photos of myself with my grandparents either, but in my defense most of them are dead and the one that's still alive is about 200 years old and lives in uzbekistan.

my mom talks to her occasionally and she doesn't speak any english but apparently whenever the subject of me comes up she always asks my mom the same question, which is "did she grow her hair out yet?" followed by "why not?". things are different here grandma i am sorry grandma

My mom's dad died before I was born, my dad's dad died before he was born. My stepdad's dad died before he married my mom, and my stepmom's dad died long before she married my dad.

I've never had the fun of having a grandfather. This is why I don't know how to tie knots or camp or start a fire.
