Hipster D&D!

Bought a 4th Ed. Player's Handbook for like $20! How awesome is that.

That is ex-forumite Gilead. We collected enemy skulls and put them in our inventory.

I threw an evil effigy of a draconic god into a pit and the dragon living in the pit attacked us so the other dude in this picture rappelled down into the pit to beat it up and hope that if the magic emanating from it stopped then maybe the dragon would go away or die and this picture was taken after he missed like three times and i was like "man maybe you could come up and help us fight this huge dragon" and then he was like "maybe if you hadn't thrown the statue into the pit" and then i was all "let's not play the blame game" and he was all "this guy over here"

oh yeah and we had beer cause it's Canada

I only ever got to play D&D once and it kinda sucked. I was forced to be the Dungeonmaster as no-one else had ever played it before. I was really really bad at it... On the plus side I think I successfully Bullshitted everyone else and there was cookies!

One day I dream of finding a regular game and joining in.

Although now I just find myself wanting to play a goblin paladin character.
