See...I bought boots because unlike your upside-down paradise, it snows an awful lot and Adidas/Chucks/Vans don't cut it in the winter.

I can't do Vans. Or Chucks for that matter which sucks. For one, Vans are ugly. (sorry) For two, both of them have no support and hurt the tootsies.

I'm loving the rubber-toe (like on chucks and some adidas) but they're not prevalent enough right now to get a whole lot of variety. I'm sort of considering spending the money on those purple adidas but $115 is soooo much. Is that what normal people spend on shoes?
