I guess I have never owned a little black dress on account of the fact that I never like the ones I could actually afford, and I really cannot justify spending $400 on any dress mostly since I could easily make the exact same thing for $50 or less if I make the effort, but I never get around to it.
Story of my clothes-making life, basically.

I need a new pair of Sperrys for the summer. Got canvas ones last year and they just shredded by the end of September.

I'd make a retort to that if I knew what the fuck Sperrys are.

Sperry is a brand that sells boat shoes.
I still do not get boat shoes. I went shopping with my mom and she liked all the boat shoes. Generally we do not have the same taste in shoes, so I took this as a sign that I am right in not liking them.
