Man, I've heard Texas tuxedo for just matching denim. It's pretty much the same thing as Canadian Tuxedo, just more humid. I honestly never hear Canadian tuxedo here.

Honestly now I think about it I can't possibly buy the definition of Canadian Tuxedo not including plaid/flannel

Yah, I always found that weird, too, Dovey. I wore really dark raw demin on the bottom and a much lighter denim shirt/jacket (the one I bought in Austin, Sam) on top with a big scarf and brown oxfords. I made it work.
