I am worried about the arm holes though, are they sewn up somehow?

Yeah, it doesn't say, so I'm not sure. if it turns out they're open a long way down I'll just use this pale green skin tight mini tube dress I have (that I don't like wearing on its own because it's way too revealing) underneath, it's never warm enough in Scotland or Norway for layering to be uncomfortably hot anyway.

I figure it'll be fine to wear it with a light coloured camisole underneath.
