Yeah, they've been a thing for a while now. I don't understand the whole shorts + leggins fad, though, and I probably never will.
Kat, they are supposed to hug your entire leg, so if they're baggy on your knees, maybe you should get a size smaller. Unless shrinking them in the wash is possible? That could be tricky, though.

I was not a fan of leggings and then I bought a top too long for pants and too short to be a dress and leggings were the solution and I have never looked back.
