I bought two pairs of jeans for $8 probably about 9 months ago. One of those pairs is currently my best pair of jeans, until I outgrow them again.
There are some kinds of clothes worth $200. Suits (those tend to be more like $400+ for tailored suits), leather jackets (maybe, I'd rather get a used one, since a good leather jacket will last for decades), really nice boots. Not jeans. No matter how good they make your ass look. Maybe that's just my grandfather's fiscal responsibility rubbing off on me.

Maybe if your granfather was a little less fiscally responsible his arse would have looked nicer in his jeans.

He's still wearing the same pants he was 20 years ago or more. And they still fit him. I suppose that says something about the benefit of staying active and buying the right brands of clothes.

women have purses and like larger bags guys so they don't need pockets as much as dudes (whose basic gear is wallet, phone and little else) so i don't know or understand why we can't wrap our heads around this concept

Wallet (large, to fit lots of discount and loyalty cards as well as several credit/debit cards and health care cards)
At least 4 types of lip gloss, lip stain or lipstick
Huge keychain
Glasses case
Sunglasses case
Contact lens solution and spare contact lens case
Several hair elastics, hair clips and hair bands
Box of Advil
Hand mirror
Pen
Notepad
Herbal tonic for stomach upsets
Small umbrella
Cardigan
Any shopping I've done that day
Face powder, blush and eyeliner on days when I'm going out after work
And there's still room for my boyfriend's crap.
