It is weird doing research and coming across a lot of hype for Clarks boots because Clarks to me has always been the company that makes the shitty clunky round-toed shoes that little kids wore to private school

hey, I wore those to a public school. Way to stereotype.

But you won't get any older now the angels wanna wear your red shoes.

Nice.

Yeah, Uniqlo is fantastic and pretty alright priced. I have a pair of their selvedge skinny jeans for over year now, and they just get better and better. They're incredibly soft now to. I haven't ever bought any of their shirts or sweaters or other things (but that's because I usually buy shirts and such in charity shops), so I don't know how they are for quality.

Tommy I've totally been on an Elvis Costello Youtube binge all day thanks to that. Thanks man.

Andy, I don't get it? Why did you quote me again?

Thanks for the recs, people. I've narrowed it down to the Clarks, The Doc Marten chukkas or the Red Tape chukkas. Brown Suede no doubt.  Just waiting to get some money and to see what eBay shakes out at me.

The burberry-wearing, flunked second grade gods.

Or maybe the whatever-wearing, going after my third degree normal people?  Seriously, what is with all of the Puma hate?  Yes, there are tons of terrible Pumas (the ones with the Ferrari logos come to mind immediately), but there are also Pumas that are crazy comfortable and look good.

They are also sneakers.  Really.

Yeah man I wore these to public school too. Clarks had the school shoe market pretty much cornered, and proper shoes were compulsory uniform evern at public school.

Stegosaurus is not my favorite, but by far the most interesting when it comes to silhouettes on a tshirt.  An ankylosaurus will look like a poundcake gone wrong, and a triceratops is just ... hm.  I don't know, not a fan.

Okay I'm officially old. I suspected it for a while but now it's finally happened.

Honestly that exact bag was the kind of receptacle some poor kid would be bullied for owning in first school. Sure enough, enough time has passed that it's considered fashionable now.

The cool kids wear those messenger bags now. I have a big rucksack similar to Sam's desired one, it's much better.

I don't like that bag, tbh. It's boring and it's Northface, which means you're paying far too much for a boring bag. (I'm sure it's not bad in quality, but still.)

Ooh are we talking about bags? I wanted to fulfill my childhood obsession over messenger bags when I went away to college, and in my search stumbled upon the last one of these within 50 miles:

MSRP: $65+tax

I paid: $7.00

The thing is basically a gigantic sack, happy to swallow up anything I might need to carry for a while. After about a year and a half of daily use I haven't seen any noticeable wear.

Knock off Burberry tartan hasn't been popular for years. You're far more likely to see actual chavs wearing tracksuits, or if the slightly nicer chavs go out they wear thin, plain Fred Perry sweaters or something similar.

The rest of the images are flash on their website and I suck at the internet, but fuck I could wear the shit out of some of these clothes.

The first, third, fourth, six, and seventh images in their fall collection are all awesome. I would date the hell out of a girl who dressed like the third picture, and the bag in the fourth is awesome. Plus, that vest
