How is it wack for a store to start selling cool shit as opposed to the boring shit they were selling before?

Guys, I am trying to find where we were talking about some courier bags either in this thread or somewhere else.  I saw one I think I liked earlier today but I want to compare it to the ones I saw online and can't remember their names, so any help would be appreciated!

There were specific ones, though.  In quickfire there was some sort of super tough one that was designed by/for bike couriers, then there was another place that wasn't quite so dedicated to indestructability, but looked better to me at the time.  Looking for them now so I can compare them to this incase satchel I saw today that I am trying to figure out whether or not to buy.

Yeah dude come on, sufu is full of douchebags.

The post quoted in the post you linked I tend to agree with. That said, I couldn't care less about J. Crew's denim. I'm there for the casual prep-wear.

Outside of denim, I like the collaborations. I dig that they sell Belstaff shit now. Belstaff is a fucking rad company. I like the J. Crew branded Topsiders. Honestly the only reason to get up in arms about J. Crew jumping on the hype train is if you're a raw denim snob.

I recognise Chrome as one of the ones I looked at before by the fact that my NoScript addon is disabled for their page, hehe.  Thanks for that, I'll look through their stuff and see if it's what I am after.

Yes!  Freitag was the other one that I was looking at but did not like as much as one of the Chrome bags.  Timbuk2 looks good too.

However, after taking a look at the Chrome store and seeing that the bag I wanted was $180 USD and therefore over $200 delivered I took the cheaper option and bought the $100 one I was talking about earlier.

It was this one.

Apparently they make "real" shoes now too, a classmate has some that she likes because she works at a liquor store, so she is standing all night. I wouldn't have known they were crocs unless she had said so.

I'm still not wearing them unless I for some reason need shoes that I can just hose off, and if I needed shoes I could hose off, I wouldn't want ones with holes in them.

I got a pair of Chicago Bears crocs as a gift, and while they're not the comfiest things in the world, they're certainly convenient for wading into the water at the beach (we have very rocky, barnacle-y beaches here).

I used to hate Crocs but then they saved my life once, when a tour group I was on went on a "surprise" hike and didn't give all of us time to change out of our thongs (flip flops, not underwear) and into real shoes. One of the guys on the trip was wearing real shoes and also carrying Crocs in his backpack, and he lent them to me, so I could actually hike up the 45 degree pebbled hills without perishing on rocks of death.

Now my hatred for Crocs is tinged with the resentment of the indebted.

Crocs that aren't the typical crocs that everyone thinks of are actually pretty ok. It just happened that the ugliest shoe (well, second ugliest after Gene's photo) became popular.

See, scarred, that is kind of what they are for, and for that purpose, they are pretty alright! Sure, there are others you could get if you really cared about it that much, but when they are used as a functional footwear, then it works! The fish do not care what your feet look like in the water, and no one on the appalachian trail minds that you are not wearing Christian Louboutin after you change out of your hiking boots at night.

I did see some cute crocs yesterday - they did not have holes in them, and were kind of sandaly and had a gemstone on the strap (and also were on the feet of this wonderful person so I would have forgiven much worse).

Just come on, Crocs boat shoes. CROCS BOAT SHOES.

Last time we talked about boat shoes, I said I didn't like them. So...Ugly but comfortable. Ugly but practical. Acceptable when on a boat, but silly on land that isn't very close to a dock. Ugly + ugly = still ugly.

I bought a new dress! I wore it to my friends birthday party and I was stared at by all the oldies and people my own age and a number of the girls commented on the dress. I figure with a change of accessories, I can get heaps of wear out of it. It came in white and pale pink as well and I'm very tempted to go back and buy both of the other colours.

This is the necklace I wore it with:

It is too jangly and pokey and large for me to wear though, whenever I put it on I take it off in five minutes.

Zingoleb: yeah, I did wear the large leafy necklace with it. The other one is the one I wear every day.

Lunchy: I KNOW! Something about the cut of the dress and the neckline did that. Normally I have trouble with strapless dresses because they are normally just straight across and have an elastic top which gives this weird squished effect. This one doesn't do that and it fits wonderfully! It was only $80, so I might go and buy it in pink as well.
