I just bought some bedsheets from modcloth and they are absolutely gorgeous if that helps. I wish I could afford their clothes but if I really want a nice vintagey dress it is much cheaper to go out and buy from from the multiple vintage shops around here.

The bottom row and top middle are all great. Not so sure about top left and right, but what do I know about fashion or anything else.

Jamie oh my god those are all adorable. I seriously can't see a single dress there that I wouldn't say "Holy crap, that girl's got a cute dress on!" if I saw a girl wearing one of them somewhere.

I did actually. I was reading the reviews rather than the item description. I think that buyer submitted feedback is incredibly important for online shopping. Most of those had great reviews. The coat had a few people complaining about how they thought it was brown but it's actually black (looks black to me!) and that it had the pockets stitched up (which most coats tend to have that, you just unpick one stitch and it should unravel).
Some of the dresses people said they were a bit flimsy in terms of material and maybe a bit big in the bust area (which is easily fixed really). I don't mind if they are a really light material because it is stupidly hot in summer and the less material the better.
Overall, if they get here and don't fit or are terrible, I'll return them (they do free returns/exchanges I believe).
And thanks everyone! The boyfriend also approves once he got over the fact that all of that was about $440AU ($380US) including shipping. I've never spent that much online shopping before, so I do hope they fit properly.
