The ruffles on the dress are a bit hit and miss with people, it's definitely a personal taste thing. They've grown on me actually.
Wafflecone, I agree with these guys, it's super cute and I like that it isn't too tight. I've seen so many girls pulling this look off but it looks like they are trying to cut off circulation to their brains.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with jeans and t-shirts during the summer but during the school year, I would like to perhaps dress things up a bit. Not too much but just enough to look nice.
Lines:
Button up shirts, sweaters (includes vests and cardigans), pants that are not jeans, and shoes that aren't sneakers.
