Josefbugman:
Happy Birthday!

Hope you got nice presents/lots of alcohol.

allison:
Happy Birthday! Are you going to party today, or postpone it until the upcoming weekend?

Also, Jens, I was thoroughly amused by your dentist story. Thanks :)

Christophe:
I think I am doing stuff tonight, but I need to round up all my friends still in town. One of my friends has expressed his wish that I get so drunk I puke tonight. My ladyfriend does not want me that drunk again.

When I'm miserable I very often clean the bathroom. It doesn't always help, but at least after I've come back from my misery I have a clean bathroom.

Today is Wednesday, the first one of term so far, and for the first time since our film course began the teacher hasn't turned up. Nevertheless we're getting stuff done; Lawrence is editing the footage we've already got (major panic earlier when it seemed like somone had taped over it, but it was the wrong tape) and I've set up a time to film in the Beauty salons (February! I am a little scared that February can be soon enough that it's the next available date for filming; I am 18 in February. It is a month closer to exams. It is soon).

Anyway hockey practice is tonight which is good because I cannot spend another evening at home. I had the most pointless argument with my stepdad last night, about Christmas cake of all things, which ended up in me swearing at him and him telling me to go back to my dad's house. We apologised to each other later but obviously that kind of fight doesn't just go away. Things mount up and I'm just looking forwards to moving out. Hopefully the odd moving out phenomenon that occured when I moved out from my dad's will mean that we get on a lot better once I don't live there.

Oh and I was talking to my teacher (the one who is awesome and pretty important to me and stuff) and she finally admitted that she doesn't think I'll get murdered in Chicago, and was interested to find out who you all are and things. I'm aware that this whole thing with her is mostly stemming from my fairly desperate need for a mother figure who I engage with and can talk to, but that doesn't alter the fact that she's awesome. So it's good to know she doesn't think I'm totally crazy for meeting the internet.

allison:
A performance group came into my class today to promote a play they're doing, called Methusalem or the Eternal Bourgeois. To me it seems like communist propaganda. The director is still prattling on about dystopian drama. I think he masturbates to pictures of Che Guevara.

Goddamn commies.
