dear blog thread,
i get to see my girlfriend in 4 weeks for the first time since september. we're going to be hanging out in chicago hitting up all our favorite restaurants and shopping for her engagement ring!
by shopping for her engagement ring i mean we'll be going to stores to figure out exactly what it is she wants. right now she has a very particular thing in mind, but now she wants to check out other options to make sure there aren't any other styles that she likes more. i know its supposed to be a surprise, but if i'm dropping a few thousand on a ring i'd want it to be just right. now to think of a good proposal that doesn't involve me jumping out of a cake.

Dear Blog Thread,
My weekend of fun starts now! Tomorrow I will bake more cookies. Friday I am doing Dance Marathon. Saturday is Norwegian Baking Day at my cousin's house. Sunday is my choir concert, and the madrigal dinners.
