my parents still use the kind that are basically really sticky paper you leave on the ground. once in a while, when i visit them, i will hear plaintive squeaking and locate a mouse that has been stuck to one of those for hours and there is fur and blood everywhere cos they have been trying to pull themselves free and i never know what to do and man it is the most inhumane nauseating thing ever why do they do that.
i am staying at their house for the holidays and i haven't had a terrible dying mouse encounter yet, hopefully there won't be one this time.

After this I'll have to resort to poison. I don't like poison because it also affects the predators of the mice.

PS: yeah, glue traps are horrible. My parents either caught a snake on one once, or I was so afraid that they would that my memory thinks they did.
