I honestly couldn't say whether that's a good idea or not, but I'm happy someone else on the forums likes Tear The Roof Off. Funk doesn't seem to get mentioned much around here outside of the occasional Flea bashing, but that's kind of a tangential issue in many ways, so I've always been kind of curious what people think of it in general. I admittedly have a huge bias for groove heavy music, even if I do think most songs in that vein are often kinda long.
